Take a trek on the wild side. On this one-day Chiang Mai trekking tour, you get to investigate the great outdoors. It's an active exploration of Chiang Mai that includes a vigorous hike through nature, an elephant trek, rafting down the Mae Tang river, and seeing hundreds of orchids in bloom. Can you fit any more great activities in one day?

It's rise and shine at 08:30, when your chauffeur will drive you to Mae Rim. Here, you'll check out the orchid and butterfly farm, where more than 50 different species of orchids blossom. Meander through the gardens that are teeming with Thailand's national flower. The butterfly enclosure adds to the atmosphere, offering an up-close experience of the many butterflies of Thailand.

Next stop is the Mae Tang elephant camp. You'll see the Chiang Mai jungles from the back of an elephant. The elephant trek is 30–45 minutes long, giving you a winding view of the native setting. Afterwards, you'll take a five-minute walk across the Mae Tang river, where a delectable lunch is waiting. Eat up because you'll be working off the meal on a one-hour trek to a breathtaking waterfall. Once there, you can reward yourself for a job well done with a nice swim and a leisurely sunbathing session.

The grand finale of the tour is bamboo rafting. This method of getting across the river is favoured by the locals, and they will often use bamboo rafts to transport goods for trade. It's a fun, new way for you to get across the water.
