What are some fun outdoor things to do in Hoi An? Take the Cham Island Tour and experience Hoi An fishing fun

The Cu Lao Cham Island Fishing Tour is likely the most fun you'll ever have on the water. Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you down to Cua Dai harbour in Hoi An, where you'll be briefed on safety precautions and proper maritime procedures before you hop on board the fishing boat and head out to sea. You can enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean as your cruise boat zips you across the water towards the Cham Islands, a group of seven small islands that can be found roughly 15 kilometres from Cua Dai. Each island is named for a particular look or characteristic, such as Pearl (Lao), Long (Dai), Leaf (La), Dry (Kho), Ear (Tai), Tomb (Mo) and East Wind (Nom). The first fishing stop is at Leaf Island, where your experienced tour guide will show you the ropes when it comes to traditional Vietnamese fishing methods. The Cham Islands are known for being rich in aquatic resources, including large expanses of coral, seaweeds, tiger shrimp and mollusc, as well as fish such as blue marlin, tuna, cod, barracuda, grouper and snapper. So even if you've never been a particularly lucky fisherman, your chances of reeling one in here are pretty good! After a spot of fishing, you're offered cold, refreshing beers, healthy snacks and fresh, seasonal fruit while you enjoy the views of the ocean. The fruit is sweet, but life is sweeter. And remember to bring your bathing suit, because the waters around here are not only excellent for fishing, it’s a beautiful location for swimming as well. Once you've finished fishing, swimming and soaking up the sun, it’s time to head back to the hotel, where you can relax after your wonderful, adventurous day out.
