With a fascinating history, marvelling at the stunning terrace garden of Oedo Botania is a breath of fresh air for anyone craving jaw-dropping views and quality time outdoors. Originally an uninhabited and barren rocky island, Oedo Botania was transformed into a botanical wonderland over the years following the 1969 arrival of a man named Chang-ho Lee and his wife. Starting out with failed attempts at cultivating orchards of tangerines and breeding pigs, the couple persisted in their endeavour to create a beautiful garden, resulting in the triumphant Oedo Botania and its immaculate terrace garden that attracts visitors from all corners of the world today. Boasting over 3,000 plant species, the magnificent manicured gardens of Oedo form part of the Hallyeo Maritime National Park and are known for the awe-inspiring views of the southern seas. Bask in the charming atmosphere at this botanical wonderland and enjoy a day well spent in nature.
