Tips for avoiding seasickness
Don’t drink liquor excessively the night before departing.Be careful to avoid greasy foods. The first sign of seasickness is indigestion and it often never gets past that point.Drink Coke or Pepsi. These two drinks help reduce the chances of getting sick because they contain phosphoric acid, Stay up on deck where the air is fresh and you can see the horizon. If you have a choice of berths, don’t choose one in the forward cabin. There is less pitching motion in the center of the boat and the quietest berth from the point of view of movement is often the quarter-berth, if there is one.Sleep on your back. This seems to support the stomach better from bouncing around, thoughKeep busy on deck. Have your ears cleaned before a long race or cruise. Be in good physical condition. It reduces your chances of becoming seasick and also reduces its debilitating effects on you if you do.

Swim past tropical fish, Koh Hong coral reef and a hidden lagoon on your sea-cave canoe adventure in Phang Nga Bay

Explore the overwhelming beauty that Phuket has to offer on this gorgeous day trip around the islands of Phang Nga Bay. This tour is perfect for anyone, whether you're a keen explorer or just love relaxing as you boat around, taking in the ample scenery. The first stop on the tour, Panak Island, is home to secret caves, hidden tunnels and hongs (which are cave systems that have collapsed, leaving behind a beautiful view of the sky). The popular Bat Cave is full of, you guessed it, bats. But don't be alarmed – these nocturnal creatures will be asleep, leaving you to admire the beauty of their home without disturbing them. The nearby Oyster Cave contains interesting rock formations and walls that are covered in collections of oysters, and the Diamond Cave is a glittering display of stalagmites and stalactites that shine like diamonds. The Mangrove Cave is the last stop before the boat takes you across to Hong Island. Hong Island, also called Koh Lao Billeh due to the hidden lagoons found in the middle of the island, is a magnificent place full of rich scenery, crystal clear water, coral reefs that are teeming with tropical creatures like fish, crabs and starfish, and jungles that are alive with some of the cheekiest island inhabitants – the monkeys. Hong Island is truly a standout display, especially if you're looking for a hearty dose of untouched Mother Nature. Our last stop on the sea-cave canoe tour is Lawa Island, or Koh Lawa. Part of a chain of islands that make up the Chumphon Islands National Park, Lawa Island is a limestone island with a white, sandy beach, shallow water corals and reefs that only emerge during low tide. Lunch is taken on board the boat, and then you're left to spend the rest of the day as you wish. The island is a popular place for snorkeling, diving and swimming thanks to the clear water and colourful fish, and is the best place to end your day.
